Brought to you by a technology company, Syng, the 3D speaker is a true evolution or innovation in audio. The 3D speaker features parts from HP 3D printing that can bring an all-encompassing audio product – the first of its kind. This speaker offers a unique sound from music to television an all things sound.
Why this 3D speaker gives you a unique sound
Looking into the future through innovation, the 3D speaker is definitely a futuristic development in technology specifically in audio. This speaker from Syng Technologies is driven by Triphonic and it is an all-inclusive audio solution that turns tuning in to your favourite beats into a feeling.
Built using Triphonic technology, the 3D speaker has a Cell that turns your space into a field of clear, detailed sound. This experience is fully immersive and can put the listener inside his or her favorite music and entertainment.
Reviews also suggest that the speaker, powered by Triphonic, allows listeners to step into a field of sound and experience the beauty and emotion in every note.
Who designed the 3D speaker offering a unique sound
VoxelMatters recently published that Syng’s breakthrough audio system is a brainchild of co-founder Christopher Stringer who is an erstwhile long-time leader of Apple’s industrial design group.
Stringer is said to have combined the latest and most advanced sound technology software and industry-leading 3D printed capabilities.
“Syng produced the world’s first-ever Triphonic speaker – the Cell Alpha – and completely revamped the high-fidelity speaker for a new category of audio: smart sound. Syng’s first product leverages HP’s Multi Jet Fusion platform to produce the Halo – a critical component of their new Cell.”
In addition, the review publication has it that this speaker, with its geometries that are used in acoustic products, become critical to the final sound quality.
Also using HP’s Multi Jet Fusion technology and partnering with Forecast 3D on production, Syng 3D printed the horns that are used in the Cell Alpha thus avoiding combining multiple pieces.
By projecting sound with unrivalled precision to exactly the right place in the sound field, Cell Alpha brings you sound that is more spacious and immersive – something that has never been seen or heard of ever before.
The two cells are meant to complement each other and cooperate to fill every inch of space with sound. “This completely immersive sound field is richer, clearer, and centered on the listener, with complete spatial control and total envelopment,” reports VoxelMatters.
From highly optimized design to mass production of customized parts, digital manufacturing is creating a space for new opportunities for companies like Syng to stand out head and shoulders above the rest.
Syng Director speaks about this 3D speaker
Speaking to 3D Natives, Syng’s Yoav Ben-Haim says the speaker is leading the pack when it comes to the new generation of audio speakers.
The director of Mechanical Engineering says their flagship product, Cell Alpha or 3D speaker was made to unlock a whole new world of audio or sound.
Now available on the market at SyngSpace.com, starting at $1799, Ben-Haim adds that their “goal is to continue accelerating the possibilities for how people will interact with sound experiences and expand the concept of what audio can be.”
“3D printing was the one method of manufacturing that allowed us to create this component in a singular piece, and to impart it with its various functionalities: six speakers mounted with precise features, 10 pressure seals, complex airways, and unique cosmetics,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Cell Alpha speaker operates perfectly in an instinctual mobile app that provides music lovers and music creators with a new and sheer level of control.
